Business Development Rep (BDR)
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are responsible for contacting colleges and universities and getting them to register to exhibit and participate at upcoming Rehab Graduate Fairs. You will be working off an extensive database of school leadership for graduate programs in Physical Therapy (PT), Athletic Training (AT), and Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Call college and university graduate programs in PT, AT, and OT
- Sell exhibition space and upcoming student-recruitment events
- Sell panelist spots for PT, AT, and OT panel discussions
Daily activities
- Manage accounts in the CRM
- Call assigned leads and accounts from the CRM
- Identify person(s) responsible for the student-recruitment calendar
- Update the CRM to show that person(s) as the point of contact
- Provide them with information about the upcoming recruitment fairs
- Sell them on the recruitment fairs
- Track all sales activities in the CRM
- Coordinate with the VP of Marketing and Sales
- Track daily KPI’s including calls, contacts,
- Additional tasks as assigned
Operations
- Fully remote position
- Work hours are flexible between 7:00am and 5:00pm
- Part time: 20 hours per week
- Monthly meetings in person
- Reports directly to VP of Marketing and Sales
- Must have a laptop and phone
- Must have a quiet place for phone calls
- Comfortable working on a small team
Compensation & Benefits:
- $16.50 per hour + commission
- Paid off major holidays
- Paid off Christmas eve till New Year’s day
- Generous PTO and sick leave per year after 90 days nesting period
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of combined education and proven sales experience
- Strong sales aptitude over the phone and over Zoom
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Tech savvy (Google sheets, Outlook, Google Webmail, CRM, Slack)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Within driving distance to company HQ in Spanish Fork, UT
- 4+ years of combined education and proven sales experience
